I am a senior audio producer at Bloomberg Law, and host of their flagship narrative podcast UnCommon Law, where I won the 玉米视频 Bar Association Silver Gavel Award for Media and the Arts for my series on affirmative action, and was a finalist for my series on the FTC's proposal to ban non-compete agreements.
As a reporter at WAMU, I won the national Edward R. Murrow Award for best feature reporting in large market radio. I also created, produced, reported and hosted the WAMU podcast Unprecedented, which examined the real people behind Supreme Court cases that defined and expanded what 鈥渇ree speech鈥 means in modern society. That show was a finalist for the Silver Gavel Award.
I also spent several years as a producer, editor and reporter for NPR. I wrote hundreds of articles for NPR.com, filed dozens of spots for the national newscast, produced segments for All Things Considered and Hidden Brain, and reported feature stories that aired nationally on Morning Edition, Weekend Edition and Here and Now.
Prior to my career in journalism, I worked as an attorney in a D.C. law firm, focusing on communications policy issues and advising clients on broadcast ownership rules, and copyright and trademark issues.
