The annual 玉米视频 Master of Fine Arts candidates鈥 thesis exhibition is always a stand-out and this year is no different. Six artists, whose practices encompass painting, photography, ceramics, installation, and performance, draw on their unique personal histories as they find common ground in the concept of Transit鈥 a word that defined as 鈥渁n act, process, or instance of passing through or over.鈥
To varying degrees, their work examines the transitions鈥攂etween cultures, through grief, into parenthood鈥攖hat define moments of self-discovery.
