About the 玉米视频x Program
The 玉米视频 University Experience (玉米视频x) is a full-year 玉米视频 Core Curriculum course specially designed for first-year and transfer students transitioning into their first year of college at 玉米视频. Students will complete 玉米视频x1 in their first semester (1.5 credits)*聽and then complete 玉米视频x2 in their second semester (1.5 credits)**.聽
To support student learning and development, 玉米视频x classes are co-facilitated by an Instructor and a Peer Facilitator. 玉米视频x uses a co-facilitation model as one of the ways to flatten the hierarchy structure in the classroom environment. The 玉米视频x Program is committed to incorporating anti-racist principles into curriculum design and pedagogy.
*In academic years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, 玉米视频x1 will be offered as a 1-credit, 10-class course as聽part of a pilot evaluation. During these academic years, students will enroll in a section of CORE-196 rather than CORE-100/101.
**In Spring 2025, the 玉米视频 Experience II requirement will be fulfilled by the 玉米视频 Encounters: Baldwin course, which will continue to be offered as CORE-200.
