The Division of Student Affairs provides emergency funding to students in need. This fund was created to support students facing unexpected and urgent situations requiring financial assistance. By offering emergency funding, Student Affairs aims to help students navigate unforeseen circumstances without disrupting their lives at ÓñÃ×ÊÓƵ.

The Emergency Fund is available to enrolled ÓñÃ×ÊÓƵ students, including graduate students, and is awarded on a case-by-case basis. Funding requests will be provided based on the amount of funds available to disburse. All requests will be reviewed, but not all requests may be approved. Once a request is made, it could take several days to two weeks for a case to be processed, but a professional staff member will be in contact with each student who makes a request.

How to Request Funding

Students in need of funding should complete the form linked below to provide details on their situation. Students should include the reason for requesting funding, amount needed, if they receive financial aid already, what other avenues they’ve pursued for assistance. All details provided by the student are kept private and only shared with necessary staff.

In the "Report Type" dropdown on the form, select "DSA Emergency Funds Request" to apply for funding.

Please note: Financial support may be considered taxable income and will be treated as such by the university.
